CHERRY CREEK. An abundance of animation art and collectibles ­ from all of the major (and many of the minor) US studios. Virtually every television cartoon and feature length movie is represented, from the latest Disney blockbuster to classic Looney Toons and Hanna-Barbera efforts. Comics and sculpture share shelf space with posters, books, and cool household accessories. If you have fond memories of Saturday mornings spent glued to the TV, you will love Fascination Street.

GOLDEN TRIANGLE. Native American Trading Company has offered high-quality arts and crafts since 1983, including authentic textiles, jewelry, pottery, basketry, and antique pieces. The store is perhaps most widely known for its collection of Edward Curtis photogravures of Native Americans, which date from 1899-1927. Well worth a visit.

CHERRY CREEK. This respected gallery features contemporary art glass from a number of notable artists. Among the offerings: festive sculptural chandeliers by Dale Chihuly, whimsically elegant blown-glass vases from Dante Marioni, colorful layered pieces from Czech artist Andrea Dasha Reich, floral painted chandeliers by Ulla Darni, incredible sculpture from Italian master Lino Tagliapietra, and woven glass sculpture from William Zweifel.

ALAMO PLACITA. Bringing a touch of high culture to lower Broadway, Rule Gallery presents the finest in local and national contemporary abstract and conceptual art. The current stable includes Erika Blumenfield, Dale Chisman, and Sandy Skoglund. Fine art prints from Universal Art Editions Limited are also on view, featuring works by Jasper Johns, Ed Ruscha, Kiki Smith, and James Rosenquist. Friendly, knowledgeable staff make a visit to this gallery an agreeable and educative experience.

LODO. Modern and contemporary art find a spacious, comfortable home in this gallery. Emerging artists are often showcased, but established names like Richard Serra, Robert Motherwell, Manuel Neri, and Judy Pfaff can also occasionally be seen. Figural and non-objective art in a broad spectrum of media, including sculpture, painting, and photography, are featured. Adding to the gallery's appeal is a small, off-street free parking lot (open until 6pm) and proximity to LoDo's many restaurants and shops.
